                                                   American Heart Association Basic Life Support Courses

Flexible dates and hours for your convenience.
A resource for any Alegent Health and Creighton students and staff.
In some cases, same day or next day service.
At least 4 students required if the course is given at your local business.
One-on-one and small groups for personal and quality training.
All of these courses will include the adult, child and infant CPR, choking and AED training.
Extensive hands on practice. (until you feel comfortable and confident).

Instructor has personally performed CPR on adults, children and infants on the streets and on a rescue squad. Instructor will be able to give you ideas on what to expect on the streets.   (Keeping it Real)

The BLS Healthcare Provider (initial or renewal course) is offered to any Alegent Health or Creighton students or staff. With the BLS cards expiring every 2 years, some may learn that they are expired or about to expire. If any Healthcare Provider can't attend or get in a class that was set up by your facility and need to be certified, HEARTSAVER can be a resource to you.

Courses Offered
Healthcare Provider (Initial or Renewals) American Heart Association
Heartsaver CPR -Adult / Child / Infant and choking (AED will be included)
Combination Pediatric First Aid with CPR
Combination First Aid with CPR
Adult First Aid Only
Pediatric First Aid Only

The AED (Automated External Defibrillator) will be included in all courses.

All of these courses are from the American Heart Association with a 2 year Certification. American Heart Association course completion card will be issued to those who have successfully completed the course.

All of these courses meets state licensing requirements for certification.
(Healthcare Providers  / Daycare & Childcare Providers)

The American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification card is the most or only recognized and accepted in most medical facilities as (BLS) Basic Life Support.


***Those renewing the Healthcare Provider card will need to have their old American Heart Association card***
