Payments can be made by (Check or Cash). Please make checks payable to HEARTSAVER. At this time we do not accept debit or credit cards. HEARTSAVER is a DHHS Provider and accepts State Vouchers.
A receipt will be provided. Because of the flexible times, HEARTSAVER is allowing students to pay at the time of class and not requiring payment in advance. For those businesses who would like to be billed; prior arrangements would need to be set up in advance with HEARTSAVER.
Student Workbooks or Manuals:
HEARTSAVER will have available for purchase; student workbooks or manuals needed for the courses. The cost could be either $12.00 or $15.00 depending on which course you are taking. Students may also purchase the appropriate student workbooks from in advance from one of the following websites listed below. HEARTSAVER will have student workbooks available to use during class.

Each of the CPR courses or Combination First Aid with CPR classes given by HEARTSAVER will include the Adult, Child, Infant CPR, Choking and the use of the AED Defibrillator. HEARTSAVER prefers not to split the courses so that every student is properly trained and given training on everything. (You will receive the full class with no additional cost). American Heart Association certifications are the most widely accepted card for those in the medical field.

No Show / No Call - Rescheduling Fee: As a curiosity and to accommodate the students, HEARTSAVER will allow students to request a date and time for a class that is convenient for them. Students are expected to show up at the time they selected for themselves. Most organizations may have you pre-register and pre- pay in advance with a non-refundable registration fee if you don't show up. If the student doesn't show up, don't call or cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will not be able to request an new time unless for yourself unless you pay a $20.00 No Show / No call - Rescheduling fee re-schedule a new date and time for yourself. There will be a $10.00 rescheduling fee to reschedule, and student will be put into a class that is already scheduled. It is important that the students show up on the scheduled date & time and arrive several minutes before the time class is to start.
Travel Fee: $40.00
For those wanting a class conducted at your local Bellevue or Omaha businesses. Additional charges may apply to non local businesses (Minimum of 3 or 4 students will be required)
About the Courses - (New 2010 Guidelines and the new 2011 training material).
Each of the CPR courses provided by HEARTSAVER is a package deal that includes: adult, child and infant CPR, choking, the use of the CPR barrier mask and HEARTSAVER include AED (automated external defibrillator) training at no additional cost. HEARTSAVER gives you complete training and does not split your training by teaching you only part of what you can learn at the same time such as adult CPR or only infant CPR. To be properly trained and properly prepared HEARTSAVER will train in everything. It serves no purpose just going through the motions, because this may be your family member or friend (adult, child, or infant) needing CPR or First Aid.
ALL COURSES MEETS STATE CERTIFICATIONS LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
Heartsaver CPR/AED Approximately: 2 1/2 hours
This course is designed for any man, women or child wanting to learn how to perform CPR. This course teaches adult, child and infant CPR, relief of choking in adults, children and infants. AED Training, normally is not part of this course, but HEARTSAVER will include training in the use of (AED) Automated External Defibrillator at no additional cost.
This course would be beneficial anyone who are willing to perform CPR on a family member, a customer, a friend, a co-worker or a strangers. This course would be beneficial for manager and employees of businesses or organizations that has contact with people. Police, security, babysitters, daycare/childcare providers, shopping malls employees, hotels / motel employees, amusement parks, lifeguards, fitness center workers, cab drivers, construction workers and those who have swimming pools. Also those businesses that has an (AED) automated external defibrillator adults and children who are willing to learn CPR will be taught. Several AED's will be shown
BLS Healthcare Provider (Professional) (certification is most widely accepted for those in the medical field) Approximately: 4 hours
This course covers adults, child, infants CPR, two rescuer CPR, airway obstructions, the use of the AED, the use of the barrier CPR mask and use of the bag valve mask.
This course is beneficial to all Healthcare Providers in hospitals, clinics and those working with patients. Those would include doctors, physician assistants, dentist, nurses, respiratory therapist, physical therapist, chiropractors, and others who must have a (BLS) Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification course completion card for their job.
Heartsaver First Aid Only (Course is relevant to adults and pediatrics) Approximately. 3 hours
Combination First Aid with CPR/AED Approximately: 5 hours
This course teaches you how to manage illness & injury in the first few minutes before professional help arrives. Included in this course are General Principles, Medical Emergency & Injury including choking, shock, fainting, chest pain, heart attack, diabetes seizures, broken bones, burns, bleeding, allergic reaction and the use of the epinephrine pen etc. This course would be beneficial to those who would respond to a first aid or cardiac emergencies.
